1. Why Improve a Prompt? / 为什么要改进提示词？

Sometimes ChatGPT gives an answer that is too general, too long, or not exactly what you need.

有时候，ChatGPT 的回答可能太笼统、太长，或者没有真正解决你的问题。

This does not always mean you need a different AI tool. Often, you can improve the result by changing your instructions.

这并不一定意味着需要更换 AI 工具。很多时候，只需要调整提问方式，就能获得更有用的回答。

Example / 示例

First Prompt:

请帮我制定一个旅游计划。

Improved Prompt:

请帮我制定一个加拿大尼亚加拉瀑布一日游计划。从密西沙加出发，适合两位成年人，自驾出行，预算200加元。请用表格列出时间、景点、活动和预计费用。

The improved prompt provides clearer requirements.

改进后的提示词包含了地点、人数、交通方式、预算和输出格式，因此更容易得到实用的计划。

2. The Four-Step Improvement Method / 改进提示词的四个步骤

Step 1 — Ask / 提出问题

Start with a simple prompt.

先提出一个简单问题。

Example:

请介绍 ChatGPT 的主要功能。

Step 2 — Review / 检查回答

Read the AI response carefully.

仔细阅读 AI 的回答。

Ask yourself:

• Is the answer clear? / 回答是否清楚？
• Is anything missing? / 是否缺少重要信息？
• Is it too long or too short? / 内容是否过长或过短？
• Is it useful for my situation? / 是否符合我的实际需要？

Step 3 — Refine / 修改提示词

Tell AI what needs to change.

明确告诉 AI 需要修改什么。

Example:

请用更简单的中文解释，并提供三个适合加拿大成年初学者的实际例子。

Step 4 — Improve / 获得更好的结果

Review the new answer and continue refining if needed.

检查新的回答。如果仍然不满意，可以继续修改要求。

This process is called iterative prompting.

这种反复提问、检查和修改的方法称为迭代式提示（Iterative Prompting）。

3. Five Ways to Improve Your Prompt / 改进提示词的五种方法

Method 1 — Be Specific / 提出具体要求

Instead of:

帮我写一封邮件。

Try:

请帮我写一封礼貌的英文邮件，感谢客户参加昨天的会议。邮件控制在100个英文单词以内。

Method 2 — Add Context / 补充背景

Explain who the answer is for and why you need it.

说明回答面向谁，以及使用目的。

Example:

这是一篇面向加拿大华人社区成年初学者的 AI 入门介绍，请避免使用复杂技术术语。

Method 3 — Choose a Format / 指定格式

Tell AI how to organize the answer.

告诉 AI 如何组织内容。

Example:

请用三列表格展示：功能、实际例子、使用建议。

Method 4 — Adjust the Tone / 调整语气

Ask AI to change the writing style.

要求 AI 调整写作风格。

Example:

请把这封邮件改得更友好、自然，同时保持专业。

Method 5 — Ask Follow-Up Questions / 连续追问

You can improve an answer without starting a new conversation.

不需要每次都重新开始对话，可以在原来的对话中继续提出要求。

Example:

请根据上面的回答，再增加两个适合初学者的例子，并解释每个例子的操作步骤。

4. Before and After / 改进前后对比

请帮我策划一个 AI 讲座。

This request does not provide enough information about the audience, duration, or objectives.

这个要求没有说明听众、时间和教学目标。

After / 改进后

请作为一名人工智能教育顾问，帮助我设计一场60分钟的 AI 入门讲座。

听众主要是加拿大华人社区的成年初学者，大部分人没有使用过 ChatGPT。

讲座需要包括：

1. 什么是 AI
2. ChatGPT 的基本功能
3. 三个生活中的实际案例
4. 15分钟现场动手练习
5. 10分钟问答

请用表格列出每个环节的时间、内容和教学目标。

This prompt is more actionable because it provides a clear audience, objective, structure, and output format.

这个提示词更加实用，因为它明确了听众、目标、课程结构和输出要求。

Exercise 1 — Improve a Travel Prompt / 改进旅游提示词

Start with:

请帮我安排一个周末旅游计划。

Then improve it by adding:

• Destination / 目的地
• Number of people / 人数
• Budget / 预算
• Transportation / 交通方式
• Preferred activities / 喜欢的活动

Compare the two answers.

Exercise 2 — Improve an Email / 修改英文邮件

Copy this prompt into ChatGPT:

请帮我写一封英文邮件，邀请一位朋友参加社区活动。

After receiving the answer, enter:

请把邮件改得更友好，控制在80个英文单词以内，并加入一个明确的回复邀请。

Exercise 3 — Improve an Explanation / 改进知识解释

Start with:

请解释什么是人工智能。

Then ask:

请用一位没有技术背景的加拿大成年人能够理解的方式重新解释，并提供三个日常生活例子。

Use the following prompt to practise with ChatGPT.

使用下面的提示词，让 ChatGPT 成为你的练习老师。

请按照以下步骤进行：

1. 先给我一个简单但不够具体的提示词。
2. 让我尝试改写。
3. 等待我提交答案。
4. 从清晰度、背景信息、具体要求和输出格式四个方面给出反馈。
5. 提供一个改进示范。

每次只进行一个步骤，不要一次给出全部答案。

7. Important Tips / 重要提醒

AI can produce incorrect or incomplete answers even when the prompt is well written.

即使提示词写得很好，AI 仍然可能生成错误或不完整的回答。

Always verify important information, especially legal, medical, financial, and other high-stakes information.

对于法律、医疗、金融等重要信息，应当通过可靠来源核实。

Avoid sharing passwords, confidential documents, or sensitive personal information unnecessarily.

不要随意输入密码、机密文件或敏感个人资料。
