1. What Is a Prompt? / 什么是提示词？

A prompt is an instruction, question, or request you give to an AI assistant such as ChatGPT.

提示词（Prompt）就是你向 ChatGPT 等人工智能助手提出的问题、要求或指令。

A prompt can be a simple question or a detailed description of what you want AI to accomplish.

提示词可以是一个简单的问题，也可以是对任务要求的详细说明。

Example / 示例

Simple Prompt:

Help me write an email.

简单提示词：

帮我写一封邮件。

Better Prompt:

Write a polite English email to my colleague inviting them to a meeting next Friday. Keep it under 100 words.

改进后的提示词：

请帮我写一封礼貌的英文邮件，邀请同事参加下周五的会议，字数控制在100词以内。

The second prompt gives AI more information, making the result easier to use.

第二个提示词提供了更多具体信息，因此 AI 更容易生成符合要求的内容。

2. Four Elements of a Good Prompt / 好提示词的四个要素

A useful prompt often includes four elements:

一个实用的提示词通常包含四个要素：

1. Role / 角色

Tell AI what perspective to take.

告诉 AI 应该从什么角色或角度回答。

Example: Act as an English teacher.

示例：请作为一名英语老师。

2. Task / 任务

Explain what you want AI to do.

明确告诉 AI 需要完成什么任务。

Example: Help me improve my English email.

示例：帮我修改一封英文邮件。

3. Context / 背景

Provide relevant information.

提供与任务相关的背景信息。

Example: The email is for a client who wants to schedule a meeting.

示例：这封邮件是写给希望预约会议的客户。

4. Format / 格式

Specify how the answer should be presented.

说明希望 AI 以什么形式输出。

Example: Use a professional tone and keep the email under 120 words.

示例：使用专业、礼貌的语气，字数不超过120词。

3. The Prompt Formula / 提示词公式

Role + Task + Context + Format

角色 + 任务 + 背景 + 输出格式

Example:

Act as a professional writing assistant. Write a friendly English email inviting a neighbour to a community event this Saturday. Keep it under 100 words and include a subject line.

中文示例：

请作为一名专业写作助手，帮我写一封友好的英文邮件，邀请邻居参加本周六的社区活动。邮件不超过100词，并包含邮件主题。

This formula is a useful starting point, not a strict rule. Simple tasks may need only a short question.

这个公式是实用的入门方法，并不是必须遵守的固定规则。简单任务也可以直接提问。

4. Practice / 动手练习

Exercise 1 — Improve a Simple Prompt / 改进简单提示词

Start with:

帮我写一篇文章。

Then improve it:

请写一篇300字左右的中文短文，介绍人工智能如何帮助加拿大老年人学习新技术。语言简单、亲切，并提供三个实际例子。

Compare the results.

比较两次回答有什么不同。

Exercise 2 — Ask AI to Improve Your Prompt / 让 AI 帮你优化提示词

Copy this into ChatGPT:

请作为我的 AI 提示词教练。我会给你一个简单的问题，请帮我改写成更清晰、更具体的提示词，并解释改进的原因。

Then enter your own question.

然后输入一个你自己的问题。

Exercise 3 — Follow-Up Questions / 连续追问

After receiving an AI answer, try:

请把上面的回答缩短到150字，并提供一个适合初学者的例子。

Notice how AI can refine its response through conversation.

观察 AI 如何根据后续要求逐步改进回答。

5. Common Mistakes / 常见错误

Too vague / 要求太模糊

Avoid asking for a complicated result without explaining your goal.

复杂任务应尽量说明目标和要求。

Too much unnecessary information / 信息过多

Provide relevant details rather than unrelated background.

尽量提供相关背景，避免无关信息。

Trusting every answer / 完全相信 AI

AI can make mistakes. Verify important facts and do not share sensitive personal information unnecessarily.

AI 可能出错。重要信息需要核实，也不要随意提供敏感个人资料。
